NSA Spring Concert
CALL FOR NEW SITE COUNCIL MEMBERS
Calling all parents interested in joining North Star's Site Council!
This is a great way to have input on important issues including school policies, budget allocation, and lots more. There is a minimal time commitment of meetings once monthly on a Tuesday evening.
We are currently accepting applications for our 2 new site council member positions. Voting will run the week of May 13, and our newly elected members will be invited to join our last Site Council meeting of this year on Tuesday, May 21.
To apply: Interested parents must email Erin Kekos a single paragraph explaining why they would like to be involved, and what they would add to the committee. This information will be shared with the school community to help inform parents' voting choices. Submissions are due by Friday, May 3.
Yard Duty
Have an hour free at lunchtime, and want to give our teachers a break? We are seeking volunteers to assist with recess yard duty.
Daily from 12:05pm-1:15pm
Historically, we've had some parent volunteers assist, but that was on hold during COVID. We're happy to welcome parents back on campus now. If you're able to help, please sign up for some shifts!
Volunteers must complete necessary steps with the District. If you're unsure if you've already been cleared, email volunteers@rcsdk8.net.
